A Message from Our Founders
Letter from Founders to Parents

Rakeen was founded on a simple belief: every child deserves an education that nurtures both character and capability. While academic achievement is essential, we believe the true purpose of education is to help young people grow into confident individuals who understand who they are, care for those around them, and are prepared to contribute positively to the world.
As we envisioned Rakeen, we asked ourselves an important question: What kind of school would we want for our own children? The answer became our guiding principle. We set out to create a place where students are known personally, challenged thoughtfully, and supported with genuine care throughout every stage of their journey.
Our commitment extends beyond the classroom. We believe meaningful education is built on strong partnerships between school and home, where parents and educators work together with shared purpose and mutual trust. When children feel supported by the adults around them, they develop the confidence to explore, learn, and lead with integrity.
Every decision we make at Rakeen is guided by our vision of preparing students not only for academic success, but for a lifetime of purposeful growth. We strive to cultivate curiosity, resilience, compassion, and responsibility—qualities that will serve our students long after they graduate.

Dear Parents, Students, and the Entire Rakeen Team,
Seven years ago, Chickadee Preschool marked the beginning of a much bigger dream — one that has now grown into Rakeen. It taught me the importance of providing children with a safe, caring, and inspiring environment where they can truly thrive. At Chickadee Preschool, I dreamed of guiding children from their very first steps in learning all the way through graduation, celebrating every milestone alongside them and their families. Watching children grow, learn, and succeed has always been my greatest passion, and it continues to inspire me to ensure that school and home work hand in hand so that every child receives the support they need to flourish and achieve their dreams.
At Rakeen, we are committed to providing a high-quality and inspiring education from preschool through graduation — an environment where curiosity is celebrated, potential is nurtured, and every child is empowered to thrive. True success is achieved when teachers, parents, and the entire Rakeen team come together with one shared purpose: supporting our children.
Rakeen is more than a school — it is a place where dreams take root, futures are shaped, and every child is known, valued, and given the foundation to truly flourish. Our Philosophy
Education with Purpose
The name Rakeen speaks to strength that others can lean on. As a school, we take that seriously — we are built to be the foundation our students stand on, and we develop in them the same strength to carry others.
We believe every child arrives with a voice worth hearing, a strength worth building on, and a path that is entirely their own. We celebrate those differences and build on them rather than asking every child to fit the same mold. And because every child is different, we meet them where they are — not where we expect them to be.
We also believe that growing up is precious — and we protect every stage of it. Human connection, imagination, movement, and play are not extras at Rakeen. They are the foundations of deep and lasting learning. We believe home should remain a place of comfort, joy, and family connection — and we honor that by protecting the hours after school for the people who matter most.
A student cannot grow in a place where they don’t feel safe. That is why safety at Rakeen goes beyond the physical — every student deserves to feel emotionally safe, respected, included, and free from intimidation. We build that culture deliberately, from the first day.
We build it because we believe every student is equal — regardless of background or social status. True value comes from character, not circumstance. We are a community where students are known for who they are, not what they own — and where simplicity, humility, and genuine connection are encouraged over comparison and status.
